Kaslo Sourdough is a family owned business, located in the West Kootenays of
BC. They have applied the skills, knowledge and experience of baking sourdough
bread over the past 22 years, to a whole new food, the world's first
sourdough pastas - Pasta Fermentata!

Pasta Fermentata is a revolutionary new culinary experience with exceptional

flavour, superior texture and digestive properties. All gluten - grains like
wheat, rye, spelt and kamut must include a natural fermentation process
which initiates the breakdown to the gluten in advance of human consumption.

It is not the grain's fault, but the modern way these grains are

under-prepared prior to consumption - that makes the difference.

Chef Allen Cooking Tips: The pasts cooks really quickly so have your sauce almost ready when you put in your pasta and 7 minutes later you are good to go!

The Vancouver store is temporarily closed due to the City of Vancouver issuing an "Unsafe to Occupy" notice to all businesses located in our building. We anticipate another four weeks of closure. In the meantime we are packing and delivering all online orders for free, if you are in the Lower Mainland, and with a minimum $50 purchase.

please place your order as normal. We will typically deliver on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but with the store closure we are adding additional times for deliveries. We may also be able to offer some pickup options, and will communicate this to you if and when it is available. Please be patient with us as we are trying our best to accommodate all orders.
