In North America, the sausage is usually associated with Louisiana Cajun cuisine, where it is a coarse-grained smoked sausage made using pork, garlic, pepper, onions, wine, & seasonings. Once the casing is stuffed, the sausage is smoked again (double smoked).
Made by a local 5th generation german sausage maker, these products are as delicious as they look. Great care is taken to have authentic flavours, and everything is made in Mount Pleasant, and has less than a 1 km hourney to our store (we even walk to their warehosue get it!).
