Chicken & Avocado Wrap

Grilled chicken with creamy avocado, crisp lettuce, and herb aioli.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Wrap Fillings

  • 2 large whole-wheat or gluten-free wraps
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup crisp romaine or butter lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

From-Scratch Herb Aioli

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh tarragon, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and white pepper to taste

Instructions

Make the Herb Aioli

  1. Combine mayo, parsley, chives, tarragon, lemon juice, and garlic. Mix well.
  2. Season with salt and white pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Grill the Chicken

  1. Brush chicken with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Grill over medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F / 74°C internal).
  3. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

Assemble the Wrap

  1. Spread herb aioli generously over each wrap.
  2. Layer with lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado slices, and sliced chicken.
  3. Roll tightly, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Nutrition Notes

Grilled chicken is a lean, complete protein source. Avocado adds heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. This wrap is high in protein and dairy-free. The from-scratch herb aioli uses fresh herbs for flavor — no artificial additives.
