Ingredients
- 1 lb HOTRO Organic Grass-Fed Beef Stew Meat (from your Family Freezer Box)
- 1 pack Mad Brit Chicken & Apple Sausages, sliced into rounds (from your Family Freezer Box)
- 1 pouch (650ml) Nourish Yourself Chicken Bone Broth
- 1 pouch (650ml) Nourish Yourself Beef Bone Broth
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (400ml) diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season beef stew meat with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high and sear beef in batches until browned. Set aside.
- In the same pot, brown sausage rounds for 2–3 min. Set aside with the beef.
- Sauté onion, celery, and garlic until softened, ~4 min.
- Add diced tomatoes and oregano, stir for 1 min.
- Return beef and sausage to the pot. Pour in both pouches of bone broth. Add carrots.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to low, cover and simmer 1.5 hrs until beef is tender.
- Taste, adjust seasoning, and serve with crusty bread or over rice.
