Poaching is the most underrated way to cook chicken breast — and when you use Nourish Yourself Chicken Bone Broth as your poaching liquid, you get meat that’s impossibly juicy and a rich broth you can sip or use as a sauce. This recipe from your Beef & Chicken Core Box is as nourishing as it gets.

Featuring: HOTRO Beef & Chicken Core Box

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in a wide saucepan or deep skillet.
  2. Pour over the full pouch of Chicken Bone Broth. Add garlic, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and lemon slices. Top up with water if needed to just cover the chicken.
  3. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat — do not boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and poach for 15–18 min until chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
  5. Rest in the broth for 5 min before slicing. Reserve the broth — it’s liquid gold for soups or sauces.
  6. Slice and serve over greens, rice, or roasted veg. Drizzle with reserved broth and garnish with parsley.
