Bone Broth Gibsons BC — Made on the Sunshine Coast
Some things are worth making close to home.
HOTRO Nourish Yourself Bone Broth is crafted in Gibsons, BC — a small, tight-knit community on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, surrounded by some of the most pristine farmland and coastal wilderness in the country.
This isn't a coincidence. It's a choice.
Why the Sunshine Coast?
The Sunshine Coast isn't just a beautiful place to live — it's a region with deep roots in small-scale farming, artisan food production, and a genuine commitment to doing things properly. Our proximity to trusted BC farms means shorter supply chains, fresher bones, and a direct relationship with the people who raise the animals we source from.
When you drink a cup of HOTRO bone broth, you're tasting a place as much as a product.
Small-Batch, Slow-Simmered in Gibsons
Every batch of HOTRO bone broth is made in small quantities — never mass-produced, never rushed. We slow-simmer for up to 48 hours, extracting the collagen, gelatin, amino acids, and minerals that make bone broth genuinely nourishing rather than just flavourful. That extended simmer is also why our broth is one of the best for gut health — the longer the simmer, the more gelatin and glycine are extracted.
Our production stays small on purpose. It's the only way to maintain the quality and consistency that our customers have come to expect.
