Searching for organic meat in Vancouver or on the Sunshine Coast? Start with the product, not a blanket promise about an entire meat counter. Check the certification, the farm, the cut, and whether delivery or pickup is offered for your address.

Organic is specific to the product

“Organic,” “grass-fed,” and “free-range” are not interchangeable. An organic claim should be supported by certification for the item you are buying. Grass-fed describes feed; grass-finished adds a detail about the animal’s later diet. Free-range describes access or husbandry, and the details deserve a closer look. Read the individual product description so you know which claims apply to that cut.

Start with meals you already cook

For weeknight burgers, tacos, meatballs, or chili, look at Bradner Farms certified organic ground beef. For quick chicken dinners, try Bradner Farms certified organic chicken breast. If you prefer roasting or braising, certified organic bone-in chicken thighs are another option; check the current product page for the supplying farm. Planning more than one chicken meal? Compare the current contents of the Chicken Essentials Box with what your household will use.

Vancouver and Sunshine Coast ordering

HOTRO.ca is based in Gibsons, BC. If you are shopping from Vancouver or the Sunshine Coast, enter your address at checkout to see the delivery and pickup options available for that order. Do not assume the same method, schedule, or charge applies to every address. Check current product availability and your selected method before placing the order.

What local sourcing means to us

For 15 years, our founding mission has been to source at least 75% of products from within 100 miles of our Gibsons store. That is a store-wide commitment, not a promise that every cut comes from the Sunshine Coast or that every product is certified organic. Individual product pages are the right place to confirm the specific producer and certification.

The simplest shopping list starts with three questions: What will I cook this week? Which sourcing details matter to me? What delivery or pickup choice does checkout actually offer for my address? Then choose the cuts and quantities that fit.
